Steelers All 91: QB Josh Dobbs
All 91 is a Pittsburgh Steelers Now series profiling each of the 91 members of the Steelers 2019 training camp roster.
5 • Josh Dobbs, 3rd-year quarterback
Last year: Played in five games, all as a backup to Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers won four of the five games Dobbs appeared in. He saw his most extensive action on December 9 against Oakland in a 21-24 loss.
Stats: Finished the season 6-of-12 passing for 43 yards and a 3.6 yards-per-attempt average. He has no touchdowns and one interception, took no sacks and ran for 11 yards on four carries.
Accolades, Highlights:
I might not be a huge Josh Dobbs fan, but his arm talent is apparent. Makes his ceiling much higher. pic.twitter.com/uQhwTxbZgX

Camp outlook: Will try to hold off second-year man Mason Rudolph to continue to be Roethlisberger’s primary backup. Seems to have the trust of the coaching staff and should be nearly guaranteed a roster spot.
Projected role: Third-string quarterback that could certainly play if he’s needed to.
