Last year: Made 15 starts and played in all 16 fames after injuries forced him into a greater role than originally anticipated during his rookie year.
Stats: Made 78 tackles, which was second on the team only to fellow safety Sean Davis. Had one interception, four passes defended, a fumble receiver and a quarterback sack.
Accolades, Highlights:
Camp outlook: Edmunds is going to play, but there are big expectations for the former first-round pick to raise his game in his second year with the team.
Projected role: Edmunds will start and also seems to be in line to remain on the field during most of the Steelers’ sub packages.
