Steelers Announce 2022 Alumni Weekend, Hall of Honor Celebration Dates

The Pittsburgh Steelers will wrap up their 2022 alumni weekend with their game on Oct. 2 and present their 2022 Hall of Honor Class on Nov. 13, the team announced on Thursday as part of their game themes for the 2022 season.

The alumni weekend is an annual Steelers tradition that brings back former players, coaches and staff members to Pittsburgh for a few days of celebrations and events, culminating in the legends attending and being recognized at a game. This year’s alumni weekend will take place Oct. 1-2, with the alumni being recognized at the Steelers game against the New York Jets on Sunday, Oct. 2.

The 2022 Hall of Honor Class will be enshrined on Sunday, Nov. 13 against the New Orleans Saints. The class will be selected during training camp, and is usually announced before one of the team’s preseason games.

The team had previously announced plans to celebrate he 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception on Saturday, Dec. 24, when the Steelers host the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Steelers will also have other theme nights for other games throughout the season, and events that surround games, which were announced on Thursday, as well.
