Steelers Announce Jersey Numbers for 2022 Draft Class
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced the jersey numbers of the 2022 draft class on Monday.
While it was already known that first-round selection Kenny Pickett would be keeping his No. 8 from his college days at Pitt, the other six draftees will be sporting new digits.
Wide receiver George Pickens will be wearing No. 14 at the Steelers’ rookie minicamp this weekend. He had worn No. 1 while at Georgia.
Defensive lineman DeMarvin Leal will be taking over No. 98, which had been worn by Taco Charlton last season and more notably Vince Williams prior to that.
Wide receiver Calvin Austin III will be wearing No. 19, a number made famous by former Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Tight end Connor Heyward will have big shoes to fill, as he will be donning Heath Miller’s iconic No. 83.
Linebacker Mark Robinson is wearing No. 93, which had been worn by Joe Schobert last season.
Quarterback Chris Oladokun will be moving down a digit from his college number, as he will not be rocking No. 5 instead of the No. 6 he wore at South Dakota State.
