The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, defensive end Cam Heyward and fullback Derek Watt as their team captains for the 2021 season.

The team voted on their captains team on Monday.

The 39-year-old Roethlisberger has been elected a captain for the 13th time in his career. It is also his eleventh-straight selection.

Heyward will captain the defense for a seventh consecutive year.

Watt, who joined the Steelers as an unrestricted free agent in 2020, was elected the special teams captain for the first time in his career.
