STEELERS TRANSACTIONS
The Steelers placed defensive end DeMarvin Leal on the injured reserve list. He is expected to miss the remainder of the 2024 season with his neck injury.
Outside linebacker Ade Ogundeji was promoted to the active roster to replace Leal. Additionally, the Steelers elevated outside linebacker Eku Leota and running back Jonathan Ward for Week 6.

The Raiders are expected to be without wide receivers Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers. Tight end Michael Mayer is also out, while running back Zamir White and tackle Thayer Munford are questionable.
THE LAST TIME
Kenny Pickett threw touchdown passes passes to Calvin Austin III and Pat Freiermuth, Chris Boswell kicked three field goals, and Levi Wallace made up for getting torched by Davante Adams by intercepting Derek Carr twice as the Steelers beat the Raiders, 23-18 last September in their first ever game in Las Vegas.
STEELERS-RAIDERS SERIES
The Raiders are 17-15 all-time against the Steelers in regular and postseason games. The teams met in the playoffs six times between 1972 and 1984, with each team winning three games.
In the regular season, the Raiders lead the series, 14-12. They are 11-6 at home games, spread across three venues.
Last year’s game was the first game in the series at Allegiant Stadium. Before that, the Steelers had lost four straight against the Raiders on the road. Pittsburgh finished 3-9 in 12 games at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. The teams split four games as the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum between 1984 and 1990.
The teams are meeting for the fourth consecutive regular season for the first time in their history. The Raiders beat the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in 2021 and the Steelers won in Pittsburgh in Christmas Eve in 2022.
Including postseason games, the teams played 10 games over a six-season stretch from 1972-77, but did not meet in the 1975 regular season.
PITTSBURGH CONNECTIONS
Las Vegas middle linebacker Robert Spillane spent three seasons in Pittsburgh from 2019-22. He played in 50 games with the Steelers, starting out on special teams before becoming a trusted member of the defense and making 16 starts.
Raiders safety Isaiah Pola-Mao is the nephew of Steelers Hall of Fame safety Troy Polamalu.
Raiders wide receiver D.J. Turner played on season at Pitt in 2020 before joining Vegas as an undrafted free agent. Pitt and Aliquippa cornerback M.J. Devonshire is on the Raiders practice squad.
Raiders assistant head coach Marvin Lewis is a McDonald, Pa. native that went to Fort Cherry High School. He was a linebackers coach at Pitt from 1990-91 and for the Steelers from 1992-95.
Offensive coordinator Luke Getsy is a Munhall, Pa. native and Steel Valley alum. He played quarterback for Pitt from 2002-03 and returned to his alma mater as a graduate assistant in 2010. He was the offensive coordinator at IUP from 2011-12.
Safeties coach Gerald Alexander was the assistant defensive backs coach for the Steelers for the last two seasons.
