THE LAST TIME
Russell Wilson had two key turnovers, throwing a pick six to Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey and fumbling inside the Baltimore 5-yard line on another play, as the Steelers lost, 34-17 to the Ravens on Dec. 21.
STEELERS-RAVENS SERIES
This will be the 63rd meeting between the team since the Baltimore franchise was founded when it moved from Cleveland in 1996. The Steelers lead the all-time series 36-26, and most of that advantage has happened recently. Pittsburgh has won eight of the last 10 games against the Ravens.
This is the fifth postseason game between the teams. The Steelers won in the Divisional Round in 2001, the AFC Championship Game in 2008 and the Divisional Round in 2010. The Ravens were victorious in the Wild Card Round in 2014. This will be the first postseason game in the rivalry to be played in Baltimore.
PITTSBURGH CONNECTIONS
Injured cornerback Art Maulet spent two seasons with the Steelers from 2021-22 before he asked for his release amid a contract dispute. Maulet signed with the Ravens in the 2023 offseason.
Practice squad defensive tackle Chris Wormley spent three seasons with the Steelers from 2020-22. A torn ACL cut short his time with the team. He previously played for Baltimore from 2017-19 and was a rare intra-divisional trade to Pittsburgh in 2020.
Practice squad cornerback and kick returner Desmond King spent time with the Steelers in 2023. Practice squad wide receiver Anthony Miller spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons with the Steelers.
Outside linebackers Adisa Isaac and Odafe Oweh and punter
Quarterbacks coach Tee Martin was a fifth-round draft pick of the Steelers in 2000 and played two seasons in Pittsburgh. Wide receivers coach Greg Lewis held the same role at Pitt in 2014.
