Steelers Awarded Compensatory Draft Pick

The Steelers are among 15 teams who were awarded a compensatory draft pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Pittsburgh gets a the third round pick, which will be the 102nd overall selection. The extra draft pick is based on players lost and gained from the previous year in free agency.  The decision to grant the Steelers one compensatory pick was based on the team losing Le’Veon Bell and Jesse James while signing Steven Nelson.

The Steelers franchise has received 33 compensatory draft picks since the NFL created them in 1994.
