After falling behind in their first game as a favorite, the Steelers now face reduced expectations in a stretch of four games against top contenders.
TRANSACTIONS
The Steelers added outside linebacker Ryan Anderson their 53-man roster and released outside linebacker David Anenih. The team elevated cornerback Josh Jackson and safety Elijah Riley from their practice squad.
INJURY REPORT
CB Ahkello Witherspoon (hamstring) and SS Terrell Edmunds (concussion) will not play. CB Cam Sutton (groin, hamstring) is questionable.
FS Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee), DL Cam Heyward (ankle, elbow), DL Chris Wormley (ankle), WR Diontae Johnson (hip), C Mason Cole (foot) and CB Levi Wallace (foot) are all expected to play.
