The Pittsburgh Steelers and the law firm of Bordas & Bordas are renewing their Sacks for Kids campaign for another season.
As they have since 2015, the law firm has pledged to donate $500 to the Ronald McDonald House charity for every sack recorded by the Steelers this year, including the preseason.
Pittsburgh recorded four sacks in the Hall of Fame game against the Dallas Cowboys last week, so $2,000 has already been raised for the cause.
The initiative donated $37,000 last season.
Bordas & Bordas and the Steelers organization celebrated the seventh year of the campaign with a kickoff event at Heinz Field on Thursday. Former Steelers Arthur Moats and Chris Hoke were both in attendance.
We were proud to be a part of the Sacks for Kids Season Kickoff Celebration today at Heinz Field! Since 2015, we have been a Proud Partner of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The partnership is important to the firm in many ways, but none may be bigger than the Sacks for Kids program. pic.twitter.com/RGKvk7GXQu
