With Tom Brady returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 2022 season, Pittsburgh Steelers fans will get one more chance to see if their team can defeat the goat.

Brady and the Buccaneers will travel to Pittsburgh in 2022, although the exact date has yet to be set. And while some NFL fans will surely be happy to witness another season of Brady, Steelers fans may be annoyed at having to face-off against the team’s kryptonite over the last 20 years.

In 15 career games against the Steelers, including three playoff games, Brady is 12-3. He has thrown 34 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions while throwing for 4,450 yards. His quarterback rating of 111.1 in the regular season against the Steelers, is his highest against any AFC team.

The Buccaneers, meanwhile are 2-9 against the Steelers all-time and 1-5 since 2001. Tampa’s last win against the Steelers was a 27-24 victory in Pittsburgh in 2014. The Steelers won their last match-up 30-27 in 2018.

The Steelers will also host Brady’s old team, the New England Patriots at Heinz Field next season, along with the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders.
