Steelers Can Clinch AFC North Title with Win, Browns Loss This Week

The Steelers can still clinch the AFC North this weekend, despite their loss against Washington to fall to 11-1 on Monday.

Just like last week, the Steelers will need a victory and a Cleveland Browns loss to clinch the division. Neither of those things happened a week ago, as Pittsburgh lost and the Browns defeated the Tennessee Titans.

This week, the Steelers will visit the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night while Cleveland will host the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.

The Steelers will clinch a playoff spot with a win or a tie on Sunday night, and may have already clinched that spot before they take the field in Buffalo, as they can clinch before the game in a handful of scenarios.

Pittsburgh will clinch a playoff berth with a Las Vegas Raiders loss or tie, a Miami Dolphins loss or tie or a Tennessee Titans loss.

The 8-4 Dolphins host the 11-1 Kansas City Chiefs and the 8-4 Titans will visit the already eliminated Jacksonville Jaguars. Both of those games start at 1 p.m. The 7-5 Raiders will host the 8-4 Indianapolis Colts at 4 p.m.

The Steelers and Chiefs are tied for first place in the AFC, with Pittsburgh currently holding the tiebreaker.

The Chiefs are the only AFC team that has clinched a playoff spot. Buffalo could do so on Sunday with a win over the Steelers, a Cleveland win over Baltimore, Dolphins and Raiders losses and a New England Patriots loss or tie.
