PITTSBURGH — Joe Haden will return to action for the Steelers for the first time in five weeks, as he is dressed to play against the Tennessee Titans, the team announced late Sunday morning.
Haden, who was listed as questionable with a mid-foot sprain, was injured on Nov. 14 against the Detroit Lions and had missed four games since then.
The two others Steelers that were initially listed as questionable to suit up against Tennessee will not play. Nose tackle Isaiah Buggs (ankle) was ruled out on Saturday. Tight end Kevin Rader (hip) was listed as a game-day inactive Sunday.
Inside linebacker Buddy Johnson had already been ruled out with a foot injury.
The Steelers scratched two healthy players: third quarterback Dwayne Haskins and running back Anthony McFarland Jr.
Guard Rashaad Coward will dress after being called up from the practice squad on Saturday.
