Steelers cornerback Joe Haden’s game-winning tackle from Sunday’s Steelers victory over the Tennessee Titans was singled out as the NFL’s Week 15 Way to Play Award recipient.
Since 2018, the NFL has been giving out the Way to Play Award weekly to players the demonstrate proper and safe football techniques while making impactful plays.
“Through the award, football players and fans from around the world can see real-time examples of excellent football fundamentals and skill development,” NFL vice president Troy Vincent said.
Haden tackled Titans wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine one yard short of the first-down marker on fourth down with under a minute to play, sealing the victory for the Steelers.

Winners of the aware receive a $2,500 equipment grant through USA Football to be given to the local youth or high school team of their choice. The award is decided on by a panel of former players, including former Steelers running back Merril Hoge.
Haden is the second Steelers player to with the award this season. Safety Terrell Edmunds won it in in Week 10.
