The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to heavily scout the top quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL Draft, with scouts from Pittsburgh checking out Miami quarterback Cameron Ward on Saturday.

Steelers scouts were in the house to see Ward and the Miami Hurricanes light up South Florida in Tampa on Saturday. Ward completed 24 of 34 passes for 404 yards and threw three touchdown passes, including a 76-yarder to Samuel Brown.

Ward is the No. 34 overall prospect on the NFL Mock Draft Database 2025 NFL Draft consensus big board, and the fourth-ranked quarterback. With Ward checked off the list, the Steelers have now scouted in person five of the top six quarterbacks projected to be in next year’s draft class through the first four weeks of the college football season.

In addition to Ward, wide receiver Xavier Restrepo, who caught one of his three touchdown passes, is also a Top 100 prospect.

Keeping in mind that scouts are almost never at a game just to see one player, and that the Steelers have undoubtedly been to many more games than have been publicly reported, here’s the prospects they’ve seen through four weeks of the 2024 college football season:
