NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger thinks Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada will be on the hot seat if the Steelers’ offense has another embarrassing performance.

“This is supposed to be an improved roster, it should be a better offense and they didn’t show any signs of it. If things don’t improve Monday night, then you’ve got to put him on the hot seat. You just do,” Baldinger said on 93.7 The Fan.

🏈 San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams had an interesting quote to the San Francisco media on the Steelers’ offensive struggles.

“You just kind of wanted them to get a first down. There were all those three-and-outs, and we kind of needed a break,” Williams said.

The Steelers went three-and-out four times in a row and threw an interception in their first five drives.

🏈 Former Steelers Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell reunited.

🏈 According to Sheil Kapadia of The Ringer, the Steelers offense has now gone 36 straight games under offensive coordinator Matt Canada without gaining at least 400 yards of offense. There have been 269 instances since 2021 where an offense has gained at least 400 yards in a game. But again, ZERO by the Steelers during that span.

🎂 Happy Birthday to former Steelers cornerback Lee Calland, born on September 14, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky. Also, Happy Birthday to former Steelers defensive end Keith Gary, born on September 14, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Happy Birthday to Steelers president Art Rooney II, born September 14, 1952 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

🎥 Inside the NFL showcased that 49ers players such as Deebo Samuel were laughing about the “tells” comment that Patrick Peterson made on his podcast during the game.

Deebo “I thought he said he had all the ‘Tells’?”

Brandon Aiyuk: “C’mon now, he ain’t got ’em.”

Peterson also told 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy after the game that his comments were nothing personal.
