Steelers Daily Links: 49ers Get Last Words, Canada on Hot Seat?

NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger thinks Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada will be on the hot seat if the Steelers’ offense has another embarrassing performance.

“This is supposed to be an improved roster, it should be a better offense and they didn’t show any signs of it. If things don’t improve Monday night, then you’ve got to put him on the hot seat. You just do,” Baldinger said on 93.7 The Fan.

🏈 San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams had an interesting quote to the San Francisco media on the Steelers’ offensive struggles.

“You just kind of wanted them to get a first down. There were all those three-and-outs, and we kind of needed a break,” Williams said.

The Steelers went three-and-out four times in a row and threw an interception in their first five drives.

There have been 269 instances since 2021 where an offense has gained at least 400 yards in a game. But again, ZERO by the Steelers during that span.
