? Bleacher Report: Bleacher Report named three of the potential worst-case scenarios for the Steelers on NFL Draft night, and the three they came up with were the following:

A long run on the top cornerbacks in the Top-15

The Ravens trading up ahead of the Steelers at No. 17

All top four of the offensive tackles are gone by the time the Steelers come onto the board at 17th overall

The Ravens would conceivably move up to take a wide receiver or cornerback that could throw a whirl in the plans of Pittsburgh, Meanwhile, the run on tackles and cornerbacks could force the team out of those positions with the best player available scenario appearing likely.

? CBS Sports: Tyler Sullivan of CBS Sports looked at Pittsburgh’s trade for Allen Robinson and loved the pick as a ‘low-risk, high-upside’ type of pickup for the team. For the trade, they earned a B+ grade from Sullivan, who believes that Kenny Pickett is one of the better quarterbacks Robinson has played with in his career.

“With Johnson and Pickens already in the fold, Robinson isn’t being looked at as a top-two option in the Steelers passing attack, rather as a high-upside third option,” Sullivan wrote.

? PFF: Brad Spielberger of Pro Football Focus believes that the Steelers could be one of three teams along with the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons that could make the playoffs with a good draft.

“The Steelers showed dramatic improvement on both sides of the ball from a play-to-play efficiency standpoint over the second half of the season, although the strength of schedule and health were certainly factors. On defense, T.J. Watt‘s return was an obvious catalyst for better performance down the stretch, and adding a premier cornerback in a first round loaded with options would help the unit to continue playing at a top-five level,” Spielberger wrote.

day in 2005, the Steelers drafted standout Virginia tight end Heath Miller. Miller would go on to become a stalwart and staple of the Steelers 2000s teams along with Ben Roethlisberger as the team won two Super Bowls during his tenure with the team.
