Former Pittsburgh Steelers free safety Ryan Clark thinks current Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt could end up being the greatest Steelers player of all time.

“T.J. Watt has moved into the discussion of best player in the world,” Clark said on ESPN. “The same way we used to include his brother (J.J.), the same way we’ve included Aaron Donald. Before this season, so much was talked about Micah Parsons being like Lawrence Taylor. We have to include T.J. Watt in this. And I’m going to say this as being a Pittsburgh Steeler, he is one of the guys that is right now going to be talked about as the greatest Steeler of all-time. Yes, that’s the (Jack) Lambert’s, the Joe Greene’s, the Troy Polamalu’s. All of these players that have Gold Jackets, T.J. Watt is on that trajectory and on the trajectory to be the best ever.”

Watt is pretty much in a race with Myles Garrett and Micah Parsons for NFL Defensive Player of the Year. If Watt wins DPOY again, he’ll be only the second Steelers player to win the award twice, joining Joe Greene (1972, 1974).

🏈 Former Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger thought Matt Canada called a good game against the Rams, especially in the fourth quarter.

“Are we going to give Matt Canada praise? Are Steeler fans going to back off the ‘Fire Canada’ stuff? Did he not call a good game? Especially the fourth quarter. The runs, some of the passes, throwing those out routes, throwing go balls. I thought they did good stuff,” Roethlisberger said on his Footbhalin podcast.

🏈 Ben Roethlisberger thinks if George Pickens doesn’t start reining in his emotions, it could end up losing a game for the Steelers.

“ I just don’t know how long do we allow that to keep happening? Because it didn’t end up hurting the team. But what if it did?” Roethlisberger said about Pickens’ penalties.

🏈 The Steelers have gone 53 consecutive games without recording 400 yards of offense in a game, it’s by far the longest streak in the NFL. The next closest teams are the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers at 12. The last time the Steelers had 400 yards of offense was on Sept. 20, 2020, a 26-21 win over the Denver Broncos at Heinz Field.

🏈 NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger broke down Steelers left guard Isaac Seumalo’s impressive performance against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

🏈 Steelers center Mason Cole also had a stellar game against the Rams. According to Pro Football Focus, Cole allowed zero pressures and zero sacks against Los Angeles.

🏈 San Francisco 49ers inside linebacker Fred Warner made a Troy Polamalu-like play on the goal-line on Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings.

🏈 WPXI: Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward kicked off the second annual Kindness Week by visiting patients. Joined by Pittsburgh native Joe Manganiello, Heyward read a book in the Dream Big Studio to be played on patients’ TVs through November before hosting a Cam’s Kindness Week Kickoff party in the atrium, where he played games with the kids and gave out signed No. 97 plushies.

🎥 Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. gave his jersey to rapper Blueface after the game on Sunday. Blueface’s legal name is Jonathan Porter. Blueface also caused some controversy at the game, however, as he proposed to his girlfriend Jaidyn Alexis in a makeshift strip club while attending the Steelers-Rams game at SoFi Stadium.
