The Pittsburgh Steelers and the rest of the AFC were likely pleased to see the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs lose to the Detroit Lions, 21-20, on Thursday night in the season opener. The Chiefs were without All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce and All-Pro defensive lineman Chris Jones. ? Pro Football Focus thinks the Steelers have the 10th-best roster in the NFL.

? 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan talked about what he sees from the Steelers’ defense when he watches the film.

? Former Steelers quarterback and Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw will begin his 30th year at FOX NFL Sunday.
