? Ben Roethlisberger gave some insight and pointers to Findlay High School (Ohio) quarterback Ryan Montgomery in Pittsburgh this weekend. Montgomery is a sophomore and has several Division 1 programs looking at him. Other members of the Findlay team were also in Pittsburgh to visit with Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger graduated from Findlay in 2001.

? Happy Birthday to Pittsburgh Steelers safety Damontae Kazee, born on June 5, 1993 in San Bernardino, California. Kazee was a fifth-round pick by the Atlanta Falcons out of San Diego State in the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent four years in Atlanta and a season with the Dallas Cowboys before signing with the Steelers in April of 2022. Kazee signed a two-year contract extension with the Steelers on March 14. It’s expected that Kazee with start at strong safety opposite of All-Pro free safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. In his six-year career, Kazee has recorded 271 total tackles, seven forced fumbles, 19 passes defended and 14 interceptions.
