Steelers Daily Links: More Lamar Jackson Drama; FA Grades
Things are not going well in Baltimore with the Lamar Jackson drama with the Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers got a solid grade for their free agent class.
? NBC Sports: An unlicensed representative of Lamar Jackson is contact teams and telling them that the Ravens quarterback is “ready to move on” from Baltimore. Teams are not permitted to discuss contract terms with anyone other than Jackson, because he does not have an NFLPA-certified agent. There has been some speculation on the internet that the uncertified agent is his mother.

study found that Ravens fans have been the most angry online since the start of free agency.
? CBS Sports: The Steelers got a B+ in Garrett Podell’s grades of every NFL teams’ start of the free agency period.
? KOA Colorado: The Cleveland Browns have inquired about trading for Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. The Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots have also previously shown interest.

? The Broncos have also withdrawn their contract tender to punter Corliss Waitman. Waitman spent the 2020 season as the Steelers’ practice squad punter but never got an opportunity in a game. He came back in 2021 and punted in two games, filling in for Pressley Harvin III late in the season.
Waitman turned that opportunity into a full-time gig with the Broncos and averaged 41.4 net yards and 46.6 gross yards per punt in 2022, while leading the NFL with 96 punts.Harvin averaged 44.5 gross and 41.1 net in his second season, with those numbers finishing 28th and 19th in the NFL, respectively.
