It could be a muddy day Sunday for the Pittsburgh Steelers, offense is disappearing in the NFL and more in today’s Steelers Now daily links.

The Pittsburgh Steelers replaced the turf at Acrisure Stadium this week, which could make for a sloppy track. The area is forecast to get around an inch of rain on Saturday and the Pitt Panthers are hosting the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at 8 p.m. tonight. Then there will be more rain Sunday morning before the Steelers host the Jets.

Many around the NFL are questioning the league’s handling of concussions in the wake of Tua Tagovailoa’s injury on Thursday night. Our Nick Farabaugh wrote that the issues reaffirmed the need to continue to focus on player safety.

It’s not just the Pittsburgh Steelers that are feeling some frustration about their offense to start the 2022 season. According to BetOnline, 64% of the games this season have gone under the betting total, and the average points total is the lowest since 2010.
