Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach and Hall of Famer Bill Cowher’s “NFL Icon’s” episode is streaming now on MGM+. The hourlong episode explores Cowher’s youth in Crafton, his stint as an NFL player and his rise in the coaching ranks to eventually lead the Steelers back to the Super Bowl. Rich Eisen narrates NFL Icons.

🏈 Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been one of the worst quarterbacks in the league against the blitz this year, while the Steelers have been one of the best when blitzing. When facing the blitz, Lawrence has the worst completion percentage in the league and the worst first down completion percentage. He also ranks 26th in yards per attempt. The Steelers rank third in completion percentage, seventh in first down completion percentage and sixth in yards per attempt when blitzing.

🏈 KDKA: Multiple Steelers players visited patients at The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh on Friday. Star pass rusher T.J. Watt and his wife, Dani, were among those who stopped by the facility for some pre-Halloween fun. Teammates Elijah Riley, Pressley Harvin III and Christian Kuntz, along with their partners, also stopped by to bring smiles to patients at Children’s Home of Pittsburgh.  The Steelers players went to the rooms of the patients to deliver sweet treats while in costume. Watt dressed up as Scooby Doo, Kuntz dressed up as Harry Potter, Riley dressed up as Mickey Mouse and Harvin was an aviator.

🏈 Steelers legend Troy Polamalu and his family were at Kennywood on Friday night. Polamalu was celebrating his oldest son Paisios 15th birthday. It appears that the Polamalus are in town for James Harrison and Aaron Smith’s induction into the Steelers’ Hall of Honor on Sunday.

Believe it or not, longtime NFL analyst Greg Cosell is fascinated by what the Steelers are starting to do on offense with their four strong look. The four strong look is when they line four receivers to one side of the formation and have George Pickens as the single receiver to the short side of the field, which has created favorable matchups for him on slants and back-shoulder fades.

🎂 Happy Birthday to former Steelers wide receiver Ernie Mills, born on October 28, 1968 in Dunnelton, Florida. Also, Happy Birthday to former Steelers defensive back Lupe Sanchez, born on October 28, 1961 in Tulare, California.

🎥 Bill Cowher said on the Pat McAfee Show that he thinks the Steelers need to be more creative in their scripted plays and get the wide receivers in the game early.
