The obsession of wanting Matt Canada out as offensive coordinator continues in Steelers Nation, as there was a “Fire Canada” sign at AEW’s live event in Stockton, California on Wednesday night.

? Former NFL defensive end Chris Long criticized Matt Canada’s passing concepts on the Rich Eisen Show.

“The passing concepts for that team are unsound,” Long said. “You play team’s that are running zone. You know, their spacing is terrible. They got two guys out on the routes with a bunch of dudes back there in coverage. We talked about it earlier in the season, extending downs and not being able to find voids in zones. Like, what are they being coached to do in the passing game? And because of that the run game isn’t really a factor, either.”

? Adam Crowley of 93.7 The Fan is tired of hearing about the intangibles with Kenny Pickett. “He’s a leader, he’s got an office, he study’s tape, he worked all offseason (with his personal quarterback coach), intangibles, intangibles, intangibles, intangibles,” Crowley said. “Go out there, throw for 300 yards, go out there stop bailing clean pockets, go out there and look like C.J. Stroud did in game number four at some freaking point. It’s 16 games now, I don’t want to hear he went to Pitt, I don’t want to hear he put up all these numbers and he’s a Heisman Trophy finalist, I don’t want to hear that he’s a great leader of men.”

? Colin Cowherd of FS1 thinks Mike Tomlin is running out of excuses when it comes to the offense and Matt Canada.

“I love Mike and he’s great at the podium. But he’s running out of excuses here with this pathetic offense. And he talked about replacing coaching moves on this staff. Yeah, they just needed to tackle harder. Nobody is buying that,” Cowherd said.

? Pat McAfee would like to see Ben Roethlisberger become the https://twitter.com/PatMcAfeeShow/status/1709265019530018915″>offensive

coordinator of the Steelers.

“It’s very evident to me that he is paying attention. He’s dialed into the offense. He is still paying attention to what other teams are doing. Why not Ben Roethlisberger calling plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers?” McAfee pondered.

? Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward thinks Pat McAfee should not overreact to the Steelers’ 2-2 start. McAfee said on his show that this is the first season he feels there is a chance the Steelers could move on from Mike Tomlin as head coach.

“It’s the fourth week. How many more weeks we got? I love Pat and I know he’s got a segment called don’t overreact, but damn don’t overreact yet man,” Heyward said. “We love Coach T, we’re very fortunate to have a man of his character and how he pushes us. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion and we have to go out there and attack it. The only way you attack it and the only way you get the stench off you is by winning on Sunday.”

? NFL.com released their preview for the Steelers-Ravens game on Sunday. Nine of the 10 analyst have the Ravens winning. Only Adam Rank picked the Steelers.

? Ravens inside linebacker Roquan Smith knows that to be a true Raven you have to beat the Steelers.

I remember last year: You’re not a Raven until you beat the Steelers,” Smith said. “I carry that over into this year. I’m not a Raven this season until I beat the Steelers. I take pride in being a Raven. I want to make sure I earn that right as well.”

?

? Ravens inside linebacker Patrick Queen has a grudge against Mike Tomlin for telling him that he wasn’t a Raven during his rookie year.

“I don’t care if he was joking, I don’t care if he was serious. At the end of day, I’m on your sideline and you’re telling me I’m not a Raven. It’s kind of disrespectful,” Queen said.
