? Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk thinks the 2023 Steelers look like the Tim Tebow-led Denver Broncos back in 2011.
“It’s almost like the Tebow-mania Broncos from 10- years ago. Keep it close, keep it close and then pull a rabbit out of a hat and win the game. The only way to defeat that was to blow out the Broncos,” https://twitter.com/937theFan/status/1717317641004576993″>Florio
? CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo thinks the Steelers should trade a second-round pick in 2024 for Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II before the trade deadline. Surtain was the third option in DeArdo’s article. He had Carolina Panthers wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. as the first and Panthers tight end Hayden Hurst as the second option.
“A much more likely scenario would be the Steelers acquiring Adoree’ Jackson from the Giants for a future late-round pick. But in a best-case scenario, Khan could acquire a top-notch, All-Pro cornerback to pair with Porter, who appears to be a future star,” DeArdo wrote. “On paper, this trade makes sense for both parties. The Steelers would acquire an affordable player (Surtain is in the final year of his rookie deal) who can immediately bolster what is currently the league’s 25th-ranked pass defense. In return, Denver would get a high draft pick it can use for its rebuild.”
? KDKA: Local 8-year-old works with Caliente Pizza, Steelers’ Larry Ogunjobi to craft perfect pie for Make-A-Wish.
Kora from Butler recently took a trip into Caliente’s in Aspinwall, working with Ogunjobi, to create her very own Kora Strong Pie.
“Our local Make-A-Wish chapter does incredible work for kids and families in the region, and we’re honored to be able to work with them on this pizza launch, alongside Larry Ogunjobi, to share Kora’s story and promote an important cause,” said Caliente owner and founder Nick Bogacz.
The pie will be on sale at all five Caliente locations starting Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023, and Caliente is donating $10 from every pie sold right back to Make-A-Wish, hoping to fund two more trips for deserving kids.

? Thursday marked the ninth anniversary of Ben Roethlisberger’s historic performance against the Indianapolis Colts. Roethlisberger completed 40 of 49 passes (81.6%) for a career-high 522 yards and a franchise best six touchdowns in the Steelers’ 51-34 win over Indy. Roethlisberger threw six touchdown passes again in the following week in a 43-23 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
