Steelers Daily: Najee Harris Growth Key for Offense in 2022
The high usage rate of running back Najee Harris from his rookie season, is probably not sustainable, Nick Farabaugh wrote on Wednesday.
But with changes at quarterback and wide receiver, the Steelers will definitely need to lean on Harris for offensive production. Odds at FanDuel put Harris’ over/under at 1,120.5 yards for the 2022 season, nearly the same total he reached last season.
If the Steelers are going to get that level of production out of Harris, and find a way to use him less often to extend his career, then he’s going to have to be more productive with fewer carries in 2022.
