? The Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers are at a standstill on a Brandon Aiyuk trade, and it appears that Omar Khan is not budging.
Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that the 49ers, to this point, haven’t been satisfied with the Steelers’ offers and would like a receiver in return for Aiyuk as part of a trade, although they are open to players at other positions.
? 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan wants a fair deal in a possible Brandon Aiyuk trade.
“If it doesn’t work out, you always try as hard as you can to get fair value. Whether it’s fair value for the future, fair value for now, you’re always hoping for both. BA’s got to agree on that too. We’re looking at every possibility,” Shanahan said on getting right compensation for Aiyuk.
? Former Steelers free safety Ryan Clark was at training camp on Thursday. Clark was rocking a Franco Harris jersey, and his co-hosts Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder of The Pivot podcast were also in attendance.
“It’s always great when RC and the crew roll into camp. Great to see you guys,” Mike Tomlin wrote on Instagram.
? The Steelers-Texans preseason game on Friday night will be broadcasted live on the NFL Network.
