🏈 NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger broke down Pittsburgh Steelers nose tackle Keeanu Benton’s incredible interception in Sunday’s 27-14 win over the Cleveland Browns.
🏈 Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham provided some insight into the A.J. Brown/Jalen Hurts drama. The Eagles struggled with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, eking out a 22-16 victory. Hurts threw for only 108 yards, and Brown expressed frustration for only receiving four targets.
“I know 1 is trying and 11 could be a little better with how he responds to things. They were friends before this, but things have changed. I understand that because life happens,” Graham said on Monday’s 94WIP Brandon Graham Show live at Chickie’s & Pete’s in South Philadelphia.
It will be interesting to see if Hurts and Brown iron things out for Sunday’s game against the Steelers at Lincoln Financial Field. If not, things could escalate in Philadelphia.
🏈 Steelers running back Jaylen Warren received the highest grade (86.3) by Pro Football Focus from Sunday’s win. Warren rushed for 47 yards on nine carries (5.2 average). He also caught two passes for 25 yards.
🏈 Russell Wilson, who is 6-1 as a starter this year, has completed 64.8 % of his passes for 1,784 yards (8.4 yards per pass attempt), 12 touchdowns, three interceptions, and a 103.9 passer rating. He is tied for eighth in EPA per drop back among qualified QBs, per TruMedia.
🏈 Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward leads all DTs with 55 tackles. He also has eight sacks, 10 tackles for loss and eight pass defended. The last two players who recorded 8+ sacks, 10+ TFL and 8+ pass defenses through their first 13 games of a season: Cam Heyward (2024) and J.J. Watt (2014, 2012).
🏈 A fan who caught the ball that Pat Freiermuth punted into the stands would like to get it signed.
🏈 The Steelers crunch/wham-bam concept was worked to perfection in Sunday’s win over Cleveland.
🏈 Mike Greenberg admitted that he was wrong about Russell Wilson.
“I need to say something because I spent this whole offseason saying Russell Wilson’s career is over, he is done, he is washed, some variation on that theme. And I just have to acknowledge, I was dead wrong,” Greenberg said on ESPN’s Get Up. “Russell Wilson is playing great. I don’t know if he can go toe-to-toe with Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in the playoffs. But I know he is playing legitimately well. This is not a cute Mike Tomlin-coached team that is going to sneak into the back of the playoffs. This is a team that is playing great.”
