🏈 The Pittsburgh Steelers have the fewest snaps set to hit free agency this offseason at just 12%, according to Nick Korte of Over The Cap.

🏈 Colin Cowherd of FS1 said that as long as Mike Tomlin’s the Steelers head coach, two things will be true — it will be a highly emotional culture and a defensive culture.

“It will be toughness over ingenuity, more alpha than actual offensive details. That’s how they roll,” Cowherd said. “The problem, of course, and we’re seeing this in New England, is what is winning in football today. And it’s ingenuity, creativity, it’s (Sean) McVay, it’s (Kyle) Shanahan.”

🏈 Colts owner Jim Irsay mentioned the Colts’ poor record all-time against Pittsburgh. He called it the elephant in the room. The Steelers are 27-6 all-time against the Colts and have won eight straight against Indianapolis. The last time Pittsburgh lost in Indy was in the 2005 regular season.

🎂 Happy Birthday to former Steelers defensive lineman Chris Combs, born on December 15, 1975 in Roanoke, Virginia. Combs was drafted by the Steelers in the sixth round out of Duke in the 2000 NFL Draft. He played two seasons with the Steelers and one with the Jacksonville Jaguars before retiring.

🎥 Thursday marked the 15th anniversary of Ben Roethlisberger’s game-winning touchdown pass to Santonio Holmes against the Baltimore Ravens. The widely discussed reversal of the call was the only touchdown scored in the game. Holmes was just barely over the goal line when he caught the ball. The Steelers won the AFC North, thanks to Roethlisberger and Holmes’ spectacular play.
