? After the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 44-38 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, wide receiver Calvin Austin III posted a photo on his Instagram Story of him wearing a Russell Wilson jersey as a kid. Austin had a 23-yard touchdown reception from Wilson on Sunday.

Austin, who has emerged as a deep threat for the Steelers this season, has four touchdown receptions on the year. He’s recorded a touchdown reception in each of the last two games.

After back-to-back injury-riddled seasons, Austin has really blossomed in the passing game with Wilson as his QB. And it turns out, it’s a full circle moment, as Wilson was a player that Austin looked up to growing up.

? NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger broke down Steelers outside linebacker Nick Herbig’s strip sack on Joe Burrow, which resulted in a scoop and score by Payton Wilson.

“Every team needs a Herbig! 3 straight games with a forced fumble…Steelers know what a linebacker looks like. 6 steaight decades of stacking BACKERS,” Baldinger wrote on X.

? Russell Wilson’s 414 yards passing were the most by a Steelers quarterback since Ben Roethlisberger threw for 462 yards in a 24-17 loss in Denver on Nov. 25, 2018. It’s was also the third-most by an NFL QB this season.

? In 210 career starts (including playoffs), Russell Wilson had his career-high output from YAC (254) in Sunday’s win over Cincinnati.

? Surrounded by “Hard Knocks” cameras, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin greeted Russell Wilson after the game by saying, ” What’s up Old Man?”

Wilson, who turned 36 on Friday, threw for the second-most passing yards (414) in his career in Sunday’s win over Cincinnati.

? The Bengals have four losses this season when scoring 33+ points. The rest of the NFL has one loss when scoring 33 points or more.

?

With two sacks in Sunday’s win, T.J. Watt now has 106 career sacks, surpassing Jared Allen (105) for the third-most by a player in his first eight seasons since 1982, when the individual sack became an official statistic. Only Pro Football Hall of Famers Reggie White (124) and DeMarcus Ware (111) have more.
