🏈 Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens ranks top-6 in average separations score in both Week 1 and Week 2, according to Scott Barrett of Fantasy Points

“He’s an alpha. The breakout is real. He’s fully arrived,” Barrett wrote on X.

🏈 George Pickens created separation against Broncos All-Pro cornerback Patrick Surtain II throughout Sunday’s game. It’s only two games, but Pickens could take a massive leap this season. He would have had over 100 yards receiving against Denver if it wasn’t for penalties.

🏈 Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh shared his thoughts on the Steelers and the city of Pittsburgh.

“Well, playing against them as a player, there’s an aura there,” Harbaugh said. “And just everyone I’ve ever met from Pittsburgh—there’s no one on the planet I have more respect for than (Chargers executive director of player performance) Ben Herbert, and he’s from Pittsburgh. I know the kind of football people that come out of the ‘Burgh. It’s real, it’s genuine, it’s unique. Just nothing but respect for it.”

🏈 Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara visited UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

🏈 Over the last five seasons, the Baltimore Ravens have 10 losses with a 7+ point lead in the fourth quarter, which is the most in the NFL.

🏈 Steelers second-year cornerback Cory Trice received a 90.1 coverage grade on 18 coverage snaps from Pro Football Focus in Sunday’s win over the Denver Broncos. He allowed 9 receiving yards and one interception, along with a 22.9 passer rating allowed.

🏈 Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky thinks Justin Fields should be QB1 in Pittsburgh.

“I think Justin [Fields] should be their starter and I think they can beat basically anybody with him,” Orlovsky said.

🏈 Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel thinks Justin Fields showed immense promise in Sunday’s game.

🏈 Steelers cornerback Beanie Bishop stopped by practice and spoke with the Taylor Allderdice High School football team on Tuesday.
