? Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson has the second-most touchdown passes (334) in the first 12 seasons in NFL history. Only Peyton Manning (366) has more. Wilson posted the stat on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Motivation.”

? According to Dale Lolley of Steelers.com, Mike Tomlin is 98-61-2 in one-score games, a winning percentage of .615. That is the highest in the NFL since 1970, tied with Tony Dungy for that honor.

? Steelers wide receiver George Pickens was tabbed as a must-draft player in Fantasy Football this season by Pro Football Focus.

? Mark Kaboly of The Athletic thinks the Steelers will keep Najee Harris and Patrick Queen out of the spotlight on Hard Knocks.

“It kind of came out of nowhere because the Steelers don’t like to open their doors and let outsiders see how the sausage is made. But when you can have four teams featured over six weeks, it doesn’t seem like that much of an ask for any of the organizations,” Kaboly wrote in The Athletic’s ‘Whiparound’. “I wouldn’t expect much to come out of it for Pittsburgh. Mike Tomlin, T.J. Watt, Heyward, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Russell Wilson are polished PR machines. I would imagine the Steelers will keep Patrick Queen and Najee Harris away from the cameras. But even if they don’t, there is an erase button available in the editing process.”

? Steel City Star shared a throwback clip of former Steelers guard Sam Davis making a key blocking on three different runs in Pittsburgh’s 34-14 win over the Miami Dolphins in the 1979 AFC Divisional Round game.
