🏈 Justin Fields was recently at an Atlanta Hawks game. Boise State running back and No. 1 ranked RB in the 2025 NFL Draft, Ashton Jeanty, was also in attendance.
🏈 Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk ripped Steelers president Art Rooney II for ignoring feedback from players. For the second straight year, the Steelers ranked 28th out of 32 teams in the NFLPA’s report card.
“I got a ton of respect for him [Art Rooney II] as one of the better owners in the NFL,” Florio said on 93.7 The Fan Wednesday. “But it seems like he ignored the feedback. He hasn’t acted in response to the feedback.”
🏈 Beginning next season, the NFL is expected to replace the chains — which are used to indicate the line to gain on a series of downs — with the Hawk-Eye virtual measurement system, NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent told reporters Wednesday.
🏈 The Steelers ranked 28th out of 32 teams in the NFLPA survey. The best grade? An A for coach: Mike Tomlin.
🏈 NFLPA exec director Lloyd Howell told Brooke Pryor of ESPN that he believes Art Rooney II is more receptive to making changes, but they’re not as significant as he would like. He noted that Omar Khan has been a big advocate for making improvements within the organization.
