? Monday marked the 62nd anniversary of when the Steelers donned the U.S. Steel “Steelmark” logo for the first time. The gold helmets were changed to black for the Playoff Bowl in January of 1963, and the word “Steel” was replaced with “Steelers” for the 1963 season.
