? Russell Wilson shared a hype up video that included “Renegade” when he announced that he’ll be a Pittsburgh Steeler.

record, 8 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 645 passing yards, and a 147.1 passer rating. Both of Wilson’s wins came when he was in Seattle (2015 and 2019). He was inactive due to a finger injury when the Steelers beat the Seahawks at Heinz Field in 2021.

Steel City Star shared Wilson’s five-touchdown performance against the Steelers in 2015. Three of Wilson’s touchdowns came in the fourth quarter.

? Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward congratulated Fletcher Cox on his retirement. Cox decided on Sunday to retire after 12 NFL seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, instead of playing for another team to finish his career. The 33-year-old former first-round pick of the Eagles played in 188 games since Philadelphia selected him out of Mississippi State in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Cox had hinted that he may continue to play elsewhere, and told Heyward that he’d love to play beside him during a guest appearance on Heyward’s Not Just Football podcast during the Super Bowl week.

“You. That’s all love,” Cox said when asked who he’d like to play with. “Just respect that you got for the game, respect that I have for the game. The way that you play the game, the way that I play the game, like we definitely could. That would’ve been nice. We could make some things happen.”

? Happy Birthday to former Steelers fullback Dan Kreider, born on March 11, 1977 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Kreider spent 10 years in the NFL, including eight seasons with the Steelers. He signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of the University of New Hampshire following the 2000 NFL Draft. Kreider is a member of the Steelers’ Super XL championship team.

Kreider currently lives in the Millersville, Pennsylvania area with his wife, Karen, and four children. He is a business owner in the property management and construction fields. He has been an assistant football coach at Penn Manor since 2019.

Also, Happy Birthday to former Steelers guard Kendall Simmons, born on March 11, 1979 in Ripley Mississippi.

Simmons spent seven seasons with the Steelers from 2002-08 after being selected as their first-round pick in the 2002 NFL Draft out of Auburn. Simmons started at right guard for the Steelers for all seven of his seasons and was a part of both of the team’s last two Super Bowl championship squads.

Simmons dealt with significant injury issues throughout his career. He missed all of the 2004 season, and was on the injured reserve list with an Achilles injury when the Steelers won Super Bowl XLIII in 2009. His career ended after a shoulder injury the following season.

Simmons served as an offensive analyst at his alma mater Auburn from 2019-2023. He was also the interim offensive line coach in 2022. Simmons is currently the offensive line coach at Middle Tennessee.
