? Rich Eisen thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers would be the perfect team for HBO’s Hard Knocks.

“You’d love to see Tomlin talk behind the scenes,” Eisen said on the Rich Eisen Show. “You would love it. And I know everybody who thinks that I’m in the tank for Tomlin and the national media is in the tank for Tomlin and it’s because we’ve been cast under his spell when we’re talking to him off camera.” Eisen envisioned scenarios such as star quarterback Russell Wilson enjoying Pittsburgh’s famous Primanti Brothers sandwiches on the show, alongside his wife, Ciara, and their kids. Imagining Justin Fields finding his way through the challenges of being a backup quarterback. Eisen also said that Najee Harris, T.J. Watt, and Cam Hayward, would add depth to the show.

The Steelers’ postseason appearance in 2023 takes them off the hook to get selected for the show, and they’re surly not going to volunteer, so Eisen’s hopes of seeing the Steelers on Hard Knocks will have to wait.

? Russell Wilson was pumped to see his North Carolina State Wolfpack advance to the Final Four with a 76-64 win over Duke. Wilson played at North Carolina State (2007-2010) before playing his last year of college football at Wisconsin.

? Former Steelers running back Anthony McFarland showed out in his UFL debut with the San Antonio Brahmas.

Former Steeler and current San Antonio Brahmas punter Brad Wing threw a dime to center Alex Mollette for a touchdown on a wild fake field goal.

? Former Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell commented on a clip of a football game from the 1940s. There was no regard for players knees when it came to blocks.

? Former Steelers cornerback Cam Sutton turned himself into Hillsborough County Police and was arrested on Sunday, the County Sheriff’s Office announced. Sutton’s attorney notified the police that Sutton would turn himself in, and he did so on Sunday at 8:24 p.m.

The Detroit Lions released Sutton after a warrant for his arrest was publicized in Hillsborough County, Florida, last week on a domestic violence charge.
