Here’s what we know about the Steelers deal to re-name Heinz Field into Acrisure Stadium after Tuesday’s press conference with Steelers President Art Rooney II and Acrisure CEO Greg Williams.
The name change was official as of Tuesday, despite what the giant sign on the building says. The Steelers are working toward getting that and all other in-stadium signage changed before the start of the 2022 season. The new scoreboard sign will look like this:

The 15-year deal will run through 2036, longer than the Steelers lease. Rooney said the team plans to extend the lease at some point, but said talks have not yet begun. Alan Saunders
