The Steelers defensive pass rush continues its path towards NFL history. Stephon Tuitt’s sack against Jacksonville early in the third quarter gave the Steelers their first sack of the game and also extended their steak of 67-straight games with at least one sack.

The Steelers streak is the second-longest streak in NFL history (69 by Tampa Bay from 1999-2003) and is also the longest in franchise history.

Assuming the defense records at least one sack in the team’s next two games, Pittsburgh will have an opportunity to break the record in Week 14 on the road when they face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. The Week 14 showdown is scheduled to be the Sunday Night Football game and broadcast nationally on NBC.
