Steelers Fans Have Clear Favorite for First-Round Pick

Pittsburgh Steelers fans are looking for the team to draft a defensive tackle in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
According to data from Pro Football Network, Steelers fans that have been using the company’s mock draft simulator have been heavily targeting defensive tackles with the No. 21 overall pick in the first round.
Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant is the most-selected player by Steelers fans, with 19.9% of all simulations including the behemoth lineman. Oregon’s Derrick Harmon is not far behind at 17.8%. Ole Miss’ Walter Nolen is fourth at 6.7% and Ohio State’s Tyleik Williams rounds out the top ten at 3.3%, meaning defensive linemen account for nearly half of all first-round picks made by Steelers fans using the simulator.
The Steelers have a significant need on the defensive line after moving on from Larry Ogunjobi earlier this offseason. The club has signed Daniel Ekuale to a one-year contract, but needs a significant investment in the position with Ekuale only here on a one-year deal and veteran star Cam Heyward getting older.

Quarterback was the next-most popular position, with Ole Miss’ Jackson Dart the third-most selected individual at 13%, Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders at 5.3% and Alabama’s Jalen Milroe ninth at 3.5%, for a total of 21.3%.
Other positions were widely scattered, with Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron (6%), North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton (4.4%) and Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka (4.4%) all the only representatives of their position group in the top 10.
The data was collected over the week from March 18-24.
