Steelers HC Mike Tomlin Tied for 5th-Best Coach of the Year Odds
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is tied for the fifth-best odds to win NFL Coach of the Year in 2022, according to odds released last week by BetOnline.ag.
Tomlin is 20/1 to take home the hardware at season’s end, which is tied with Indianapolis’ Frank Reich, Green Bay’s Matt Lafleur, Tennessee’s Mike Vrabel, Cincinnati’s Zac Taylor and the Rams’ Sean McVay.
The 2022 season will be Tomlin’s first without Hall of Fame quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He has never had a losing season over his 15 years at the helm in Pittsburgh.
Tomlin was named the Motorola NFL Coach of the Year in 2008.
New Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels is the favorite at 12/1. He is followed by the Chargers’ Brandon Staley and Broncos’ Nathaniel Hackett, who are both listed at 14/1. Houston’s Lovie Smith, Carolina’s Matt Rhule and Seattle’s Pete Carroll share the longest odds at 40/1.
