Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is in attendance for tonight’s game three playoff matchup between the Penguins and the New York Rangers.

Tomlin was shown on the jumbotron at PPG Paints Arena while donning a Sidney Crosby jersey in the crowd. He paired it with a plaid newsboy style cap that stood out amongst the Penguins fans in attendance.

Tomlin being there is exciting enough and extends the partnership of the sports teams to one another. They try to stay interconnected and root one another. In addition, after the Penguins went up 4-1 after an Evan Rodrigues goal, Tomlin was seen toasting to the first period the Penguins had put up.

The Penguins are still fighting even after going out to a lead. The series is tied 1-1, and Tomlin is on set to watch the Penguins in the playoff game on one of his rare off days from the Steelers. The Steelers and Tomlin will be right back to work next weekend, however, to start rookie minicamp. While Tomlin is taking some time for leisure it will not last long as the offseason program begins to ramp up on the South Side for the Steelers including a highly contested quarterback battle between Mitch Trubisky, Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph.
