Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin Reveals What He’s Looking for at Rookie Camp
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin wrapped up the team’s 2024 rookie minicamp at UPMC Rooney Sports Compelx after their second and final practice session on Saturday. Tomlin talked about what the team hoped to accomplish with the rookies and tryout players over the two-day camp, and what he hoped to learn about first-round draft pick Troy Fautanu.
“I’m looking for a lot of things, to be quite honest with you,” Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said. “How people learn. How people take in information. How they retain information. Some physical things; how their body works, levels of conditioning. Things that are really critical in terms of getting to know these guys and building a program individually for them to get them ready for Latrobe.”
