Steelers Host Punter Drue Chrisman, Long Snapper Rex Sunahara for Free Agent Visits

The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted punter Drue Chrisman and long snapper Rex Sunahara for free agent visits on Tuesday, according to the NFL transactions page.

Chrisman is a rookie out of Ohio State. He signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent. He was cut at the end of training camp and has spent two stints on the Cincinnati practice squad, most recently being released on Oct. 12.

Chrisman (6-foot-3, 223 pounds) was a second-team All-Big Ten selection at Ohio State in 2020. He was also honored as. Third-team selection in 2018 and an honorable mention in 2018.

Steelers rookie Pressley Harvin III is averaging 43.7 yards per punt, and the Steelers are 28th in the league in punting average.

Sunahara is a former West Virginia long snapper that has been with several NFL teams. He also worked out for the Steelers last season.
