Steelers ILB Devin Bush Leaves With Undisclosed Injury
PITTSBURGH — Steelers linebacker Devin Bush left the game against New England early with an undisclosed injury. During the Patriots’ final drive, Bush came off the field and immediately went into the blue tent. Afterward, Bush immediately came out of the medical tent and went to the locker room.
The Steelers had trouble stopping the Patriots up front on the final drive, and losing Bush early on in the drive could have been a factor in that. He was playing a high level prior to the injury and with him out, the Steelers turned to Robert Spillane to field that void.
If Bush’s injury is long-term, the Steelers will see Myles Jack and Spillane as the starters. While the injury for Bush right now remains, undisclosed, he did walk down into the locker room under his own power. That is at the very least a promising sign right away.
