Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt was reported on Sunday to be dealing with cracked ribs suffered in the team’s win over the Tennessee Titans last week.

Watt, who was never placed on the Steelers’ injury report, did not play his usual compliment of snaps against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, but that could have been because they were playing at a 30-point deficit for much of the second half.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin and Watt both deflected questions about Watt’s injury after the game.

“Just some minor things I’m trying to get through,” Watt said. “Just dealing with some minor stuff that I’ve got to fight through.”

The star outside linebacker was held to one tackle against the Chiefs. He did not have a sack or quarterback hit. That was his least-productive statistical performance of the season. He had one tackle and one quarterback hit in Week 14 against Minnesota.
