PITTSBURGH — Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt left his team’s game against the Detroit Lions with a left hip injury.
Watt was injured when he and Steelers inside linebacker Joe Schobert collided as they were coming in from opposite directions on a sack of Lions quarterback Jared Goff.

Watt was slow to get up, but eventually walked off the field under his own power, pointing to his left leg. He was taken into the medical tent on the Pittsburgh sideline for evaluation and treatment.
Taco Charlton replaced Watt at left outside linebacker on the Steelers defense.
