Steelers tight end Eric Ebron suffered a knee injury in the team’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday and was not able to return, head coach Mike Tomlin said after the game.

Ebron scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter, and was hurt late in the game.

Tomlin said that Ebron and J.C. Hassenauer’s injury, which he described as a pec though it was announced in-game as a shoulder issue, were the only two significant injuries to come from the game.

Cornerback Arthur Maulet (neck) and running back Najee Harris (head) were both evaluated and allowed to return.

Ebron has been replaced by Zach Gentry when he has missed time this season.

Hassenauer was already replacing Kevin Dotson at left guard. Dotson was placed on the injured reserve on Saturday. Reserve tackle Joe Haeg replaced Hassenauer.
