Wide receiver Chase Claypool is questionable to play against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday after suffering a hamstring injury mid-week and not practicing on Friday.
Claypool was limited at practice on Thursday with the hamstring injury and did not practice Friday. If he is unable to play, James Washington would likely replace him in the starting lineup.
Washington started in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals in place of fellow outside receiver Diontae Johnson, who missed that game with a knee injury. After being limited in practice on Wednesday, Johnson was a full participant the rest of the week and is set to start against the Packers.
Slot receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is also good to go after leaving the Bengals game with a rib injury. Smith-Schuster did not practice Wednesday and was limited on Thursday, but was a full participant on Friday.
With Johnson questionable, the the Steelers could once again call on the services of practice squad wide receiver Cody White, who was a gameday elevation in Week 3 and was protected from being signed from the practice squad this week.
Three other Steelers have been ruled out of the game: guard Rashaad Coward, nose tackle Carlos Davis and tackle Chukwuma Okorafor.
