Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and defensive end Isaiah Buggs both sat out of practice Thursday with new injuries, as the team continues to prepare for their first round playoff game with the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Smith-Schuster (knee) was not listed on the injury report Wednesday, but did not practice Thursday.

Buggs also practiced fully on Wednesday, but was added to the injury report and sat out Thursday as he deals with an unspecified illness.

The Steelers did get some encouraging news Thursday, as kicker Chris Boswell (groin) was a full participant on the practice field. He has missed the last two games and was limited on Wednesday.

Inside linebacker Vince Williams (quadricep) and defensive tackle Tyson Alualu (ankle) were also full participants on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday.

Cornerback Steven Nelson (knee) had also been limited Wednesday. He was full-go today as well.

Lastly, safety Terrell Edmunds (shoulder) was a full participant for the second-straight day.
