PITTSBURGH — Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that he is not anticipating any of his team requiring post-season surgical procedures and that the team will enter in the offseason in close to full health.

Players that need minor procedures frequently push them off into the postseason, but Tomlin said that anything that needed cleared up at this juncture had already been taken care of.

The only players on injured reserve to lose the season are nose tackle Tyson Alualu (knee), defensive tackle Demarcus Christmas (back), quarterback Josh Dobbs (toe), left guard Kevin Dotson (ankle), tight end Eric Ebron (knee), center/guard B.J. Finney (back), inside linebacker Buddy Johnson (foot) and defensive end Stephon Tuitt (knee).

Of those players, only Alualu, Dotson, Johnson and Tuitt are under contract for the 2022 season.

The Steelers got wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster back from what had been expected to be a long-term shoulder injury for the Wild Card playoff game against the Chiefs.
